Children who face poverty
This is no longer a novelty
Going to bed without food and hungry
Many of these children are frustrated and angry
Their basic needs are not being met
Living in neighborhoods with constant threat
Violence in our streets
Going without enough to eat
Limited access to healthcare
Abuse and neglect why can’t we spare
Why can’t the children of this country have the proper care ?
