Not everyone has been through trauma in life. Everyone can’t relate to someone who has been through trauma in life. We react differently to things than someone who has not been through trauma. We are hypervigilant about our environment and who is in that in environment. We notice small changes and a person’s personality easily. We feel things in our gut and have good intuition although we don’t always listen to our intuition.
We notice the small things such as a micro expression or the tone of someone’s voice. We notice whether body language aligns with the words coming from someone’s mouth. We notice the unsaid things and patterns in others’ behaviors. If we listen to this information that we are in tune with it can protect us from further harm.
If we shut down this intuition and ignore the red flags in behavior of people that are not safe for us, we will repeat the same pattern over and over in our lives.
It’s important to listen to these gut feelings we are getting and not ignore them to see the best in other people.
