There are so many different things that you can do to make your home decorated for Halloween. Dollar Tree offers fake pumpkins and Fall flowers to use as decorations. You can often find window clings that are Halloween themed and you can put on the windows. Your kids can help join in the decorating by helping to put the Fall things up with you.
The kids can take foam sheets, felt or construction paper and make ghosts. They can also make other things such as pumpkins or bats. You would make a template from cardboard in the shape of the different things that are Halloween themed and trace them onto the medium of your choice. After the felt shapes are cut out you would need to reenforce them with cardboard to make stronger.
Oriental Trading Company often has different Halloween themed merchandise as well for low purchase prices. They often have Halloween themed lights and garlands for hanging around the house. You can simply make little ghosts by using white fabric and stuffing it with batting for the head then tying it off.
There are so many unique and interesting things that you and your kids can make together to decorate for Halloween. There is no limit to want you, and your imagination can come up with to use for decorating. Do a little research on the internet or just go for a stroll through your Dollar Tree and you can find many things to use for decorating Halloween themed.
