Children are forever growing and the styles, trends for children are always changing. A mom needs to keep up with all these changes. Moms also are wanting to keep a budget for their children’s clothing. I found when my children were young and growing rapidly that if I shopped a resale stores, I saved a lot of money on clothing for my children. The toddler and preschool years are when children are growing at the greatest rate and by shopping at resale stores you can save yourself a lot of money on items.
Another great place to find clothing for children as they get into middle school or older is Old Navy as the store has the latest trends but at great prices. Boscov’s is another store that often has great prices on children’s clothing with the latest trends. Boscov’s often offers coupons and if someone has been in the military you can get a good discount on items. Children like to pick out their clothes as they get older and this will allow them to do it without breaking the bank. Outlet stores are another place that children’s clothes can be found at great prices.
Amazon can be a good place online to look for certain items for children as it does also have discounted items. You can buy items in bulk such as t-shirts and get a fairly good price on them. Costco offers items on discount when they are bought in bulk also. Family and friends can also pass down gently used clothing to you. When your children are older, they may not enjoy the option of having clothing passed down to them but, you can probably get away with it when they are younger.
Why not take your children shopping for clothing and make it an annual trip? Shopping with children will create a bonding experience for both of you while they learn about the price of clothing and how to select quality items that will last.
