Colors burst forth across the sky
Seeing lots of flags hanging nearby
Sparklers are lit and sizzle
Fireworks that scream and fizzle
Hot dogs, barbecues and baseball games
A parade of children marching in town on Main
Blankets are laid on the grass
Bands of woodwind and brass
Folks gathering together to celebrate on this day
what men have created
