Bath time in the family can be made fun for children. One thing that can add to a fun time in the bath for children is to include water toys. There are many different toys for children to play with in the bathtub now. Everything from plastic whales that squirt to water guns. Other plastic toys for children make the experience a fun time for them. Boats of different sizes and colors can be added to the bathtub for children to play with. Rubber ducks that float can be added to the tub. A cover to put on the spicket so that your child does not bump their head can be found in many different animal shapes. You can put grippers in the bottom of your tub that are there for traction and are fun decorative accents of different shapes.
Filling the bathtub with bubbles was always a favorite thing for my children. Fingerpaints are now made for kids to use in the tub so they can create while taking a bath. Hooded towels that are different animal prints such as a front are now available for children. Different terry wash cloths that are colorful designs, prints and characters such as animals make bathtime fun for your children.
You could sing some songs to your children as they wash to make the experience enjoyable. It all depends on the age of the children who are getting a bath as to the activities you might include in bath time. You could play music for your children while taking a bath. Just remember to keep the cord and music player up in a dry spot where the kids can’t reach it. Better yet play the music from an adjacent room so there aren’t any problems with the music player getting wet.
Whatever you decide to choose for your children make sure to it is a fun time they will remember.
