It’s beautiful to see the birds of different colors that have arrived in our yard. We have had blue jays, cardinals, blue birds and chic a dees to name a few. We have a nice bird feeder in our backyard that allowed the birds to come up on our patio. Unfortunately, we had to remove that bird feeder due to a bear sighting near our home.
Living in Pennsylvania has allowed us to see deer in our backyard and red-tailed hawk. Driving I have seen several foxes and raccoon. Squirrel and rabbit are abundant in our yard when warm weather hits. I have had the opportunity to see a snapping turtle near our lake and geese. I have seen heron and egret. Nature is wonderful and if you get the chance to stop and check it out, I hope you do so.
Whether it is birds or mammals running around it’s always interesting to see what this area of the country brings. My boys got to catch crayfish as children at a local stream. Opossum and pheasant can be seen on the side of the road in many places.
Many varieties of animals can be seen around the state and other places. I hope you get the opportunity to see some cool wildlife today.
