Eating mostly fruits and vegetables can help your health in many ways. Studies have shown that eating mostly fruits and vegetables can help you with your cognitive functions. As we age the brain can start to decline. Dementia can set in for many. Witnessing dementia is something I have done firsthand and it is not pretty. People unable to function the way they had in the past and forgetting things that they were once able to remember. There have been studies done on dementia and Alzheimer disease.

It has been studied what can prevent and help with these brain diseases. Plant based diets have been shown helpful in preventing plaques from building up in the brain. What if it was as simple as eating a plant-based diet in order to maintain our brain health. Wouldn’t we all want to go into our old age happy and healthy? If it were as simple as changing our diet to maintain our health would most people, do it. I think the answer to that question is simple and straightforward and most of us would say a hard yes to that question.

I hope that you will consider the recent research and findings on dementia and Alzheimer’s and opt to switch to a plant-based diet. Isn’t your health worth making this change to promote a healthy life?
