It’s been found that having a pet can lower your blood pressure and make you healthier by reducing your stress. There are so many different things that pets can provide for us. Pets provide us with companionship, exercise, and a sense of purpose. If you are in a new area and take your dog for a walk you may meet others with dogs.
There are so many different toys, grooming kits and outfits you can buy for your dog. Dog breeds are a dime a dozen. You can have anything from a poodle to a German Sheppard. The choice is yours as to whether you want a small dog or a large one. Dogs are there for you when you are sick and can sense it and they don’t talk back.
I’m more of a cat person and there are quite a few different cat breeds you can choose from as well. I personally have had domestic breeds, ocicats and a Maine Coon cat. The Maine Coon out of all the breeds I find to be the most friendly and playful. He loves to play hide and seek. Our cat can also be found playing tag with us. He also enjoys almost all his toys and loves to be with us all the time. His thick fur requires a lot of grooming but, he is well worth it.
Whether it is a dog, cat or other animal you have to keep you company, pets bring us such joy, comfort and companionship. If you don’t have a pet to keep you company, I highly recommend getting one. You will never be lonely again and the benefits of stress reduction are amazing.
