I’m a fifty something woman who raised two boys and is enjoying the second half of my life. I was a stay-at-home mom for years and I’m now discovering a different side to life. I enjoyed being there for my kids even though the days were hectic I will always cherish them. I’m currently exploring my creative side after working in human services and education for a bit. I hope to make writing a full-time side business in some way. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I would love to make a living doing it. Blogging has allowed me to follow a passion of mine and share my experiences with others.

Photography

Taking photos of the people and things around me that I find interesting has been a pastime of mine. I would love to include them in my blog and will one day figure out how to do that. I have taken pictures of cars, hot air balloons, crafts I have made, scenery and of course family. I have so many interesting things to photograph here in Pennsylvania from mountains, flowers, streams and wildlife there is always something of interest to put into photos. I hope to add my photos to share them on here. I like to take photos that are colorful or unique in some way and add interest for the viewer. My son had been helping and showing me different techniques to take better photos. He had shown me the proper way to hold the camera because I really am a beginner at the process of taking photos. I would also like to add some of my photos to my poetry and sell them as art possibly.

What do you like to take photos of? Do you have any special tips for taking really great photos? I think it’s wonderful when we can all share what has worked for us and what has not worked for us with others. Learning and growing from each other makes life a wonderful experience. I just learning how to zoom in better to take photos. Hope you have the chance this weekend to go out and take photos of things that are meaningful to you.
