What are some ways that you like to exercise? I have found some really great ways to destress. First, I think that exercise is important for us to stay healthy and destress. Walking through nature, jogging or taking an exercise class are all great ways to destress. There are so many different exercise classes available now. You can do Pilates, yoga, barre, Zumba, aerobics, cycling, karate, kickboxing.
When the weather is warm here, I like to go to the local parks to walk and hear the stream flowing. I also like to see the different flowers blooming or go for a walk at our battlefield in town and watch the sunset in the evening over the mountains. I have been blessed with some beautiful views here which are great places to exercise and relax. In the wintertime I think it’s a great idea to take a class and there are so many options available now to choose from. There is also the option of Pickleball, which is similar to racket ball but, the paddles are different. Tennis is also a great sport for exercise and getting together with others. Kayaking through the lakes, streams and waters in the warm weather is a wonderful way to get exercise as well. Biking through trails and seeing the wonderful scenery in the springtime can be a great way to get some exercise. It all depends on what you like and your budget.
