Do you like to get creative and express yourself? I know that I do and really enjoy having the time now that my kids are older to get creative again. I enjoy making clay jewelry and writing. My clay jewelry is more for me as I know that it won’t really make any money and that is my ultimate goal to make money with my craft. Writing is and has been a passion of mine since I was young. I love to write poetry and short stories for children. I take my understanding of human development through my degree and use it to incorporate in my writing what I know about children and people. We as mothers need to find the time for ourselves to create if it is something that brings us joy and helps us refresh ourselves. When we as parents fill our cups up then we are able to fill others cups up.
Why not invite your best gal pals over for some coffee and creativity? It’s a great way to refill yourself, bond and create all at one time. You could even have the kids play while you are creating and this way kids would have a play date. Hope you get to enjoy some time creating this week.
