It’s interesting how your whole world changes when you become a parent. You went from being able to leave just by getting yourself ready and now you have to get other people ready to leave. You must make sure that they are feed, changed and dressed for the weather. Some of other things that you have to take into consideration is whether you have enough diapers for the trip out or whether the bottle cold and full. These things are just routine when they are infants, toddlers. Maintaining a routine also makes things easier for the children. Making sure you arrange errands around their nap. Bringing toys or a pacifier for the outings to keep them busy
Things change as they get older and so do the worries. When they get older you are worried about things like friendships, grades and whether they have adjusted to college. You worry about who they are hanging out with and hope that they are people that will have a good influence on your kids. You worry about car accidents, allergy shots, girlfriends. I often wonder whether it ever stops even when your children are grown. My boys are in their twenties, and I still worry about them. I worry about car accidents, girlfriends and navigating the working world to make life enjoyable. I don’t think the worry ever stops if you truly care about your kids. They made me grown but, they will still be your kids for life.
