Where do you like to vacation? There are so many great places to visit in the US and vacation. From the beach to the mountains and everything in between. The Poconos are a great place to vacation if you like to see the mountains. There are plenty of hotels that offer indoor pools, gaming and other activities if you go when it is cold. If you are a beach person I recommend Ocean City NJ, Cape May NJ and Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Some other great places to visit are Maine, the coast is gorgeous and they have some great beaches. I’ve also heard that Provincetown is a wonderful place to visit. If you are looking for towns that offer an artsy vibe in Pennsylvania look no further than New Hope it has lots of quaint shops, restaurants and a playhouse. Carlisle Pennsylvania is also known for its arts scene with lots of little shops, restaurants and arts venues. Gettysburg Pennsylvania also has some great artsy places to visit downtown with restaurants and shops you can enjoy. The battlefield on a nice sunny day surrounded by the mountains provides an opportunity for some great photos. A trip to Washington D.C. will give you an opportunity to see lots of museums and monuments.
When planning your vacation spot, it is important to think about budget, time and activities included in the trip. If you have little children, you are not going to go to a place that does not have activities for your children. You must also think about kid friendly restaurants and comfortable hotel rooms for the family. I suggest planning your trip out at least weeks ahead of time if not months ahead of time.
