Child Development

I studied education and learned about child development. I believe it is important to know how children learn for parents. Jean Piaget came up with different stages of development. It’s a snowy weekend here and to pass the time I plan on baking today. I found a great recipe for lemon meringue pie. I want to bake it for my family as we sit nestled next to the fireplace eating our pie. It seems like a fairly simple recipe to make, and l look forward to making it and enjoying the sweet goodness and sharing the memories with my family. I hope to pass on the love of baking to my children. My youngest son liked to bake cookies at Christmas time and enjoyed making them from scratch rather than doing slice and bake cookies. I would love to make baking a tradition in my home and bring warm memories to my family. I hope to continue this tradition for many years to come and hopefully one day have my grandchildren enjoy it as well. Here’s to a cozy winter baking day in my household. I hope you are making warm memories with your family on this cold winter day.
