The decision to send your kids to vocational school or college is a personal one. You have to look at the many different factors that go into the decision. You must look at cost versus the return on the investment and time put into the learning. A parent must also consider the kids interests, talents and passions. When you look at both options you must take into consideration the field your kids would like to go into and whether those fields will yield a good profit when they graduate based on the time spent and money spent. I think everyone has natural talents but, they must also be fostered, and a realistic view must be taken to determine which education will benefit your kids the most in the long run. Is that field they have picked to major in saturated and there are not jobs available? Will they be in school for a long time and accrue so much debt that it will not be worth the investment? A parent needs to look at what is best for them and their family.
