I’m a fifty something woman who raised two boys and is enjoying the second half of my life. I was a stay-at-home mom for years and I’m now discovering a different side to life. I enjoyed being there for my kids even though the days were hectic I will always cherish them. I’m currently exploring my creative side after working in human services and education for a bit. I hope to make writing a full-time side business in some way. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I would love to make a living doing it. Winter weather headed our way. Do you love or hate the cold and snow? I personally think it beautiful to look at but, the cold is not something I have ever enjoyed. When I was a child, I would play in the snow like the other children by building snow forts, sledding and ice skating but, I was still never really fond of the cold weather.

I have come to appreciate the beauty of it as I’ve gotten older but, the cold I don’t think will ever be anything I’m especially fond of. To look out the window and see the snow- covered trees, hills, and landscape make me want to pick up a paint brush to paint the splendid scene but, overall I still don’t like the cold.

What is your opinion of the winter weather? I think you either love it, or you hate it.
