I’m a fifty something woman who raised two boys and is enjoying the second half of my life. I was a stay-at-home mom for years and I’m now discovering a different side to life. I enjoyed being there for my kids even though the days were hectic I will always cherish them. I’m currently exploring my creative side after working in human services and education for a bit. I hope to make writing a full-time side business in some way. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I would love to make a living doing it. Blogging has allowed me to follow a passion of mine and share my experiences with others.

Reflections for New Year

Do you make New Year’s resolutions every year? Do you stick to your resolutions or just give up on them and pass them over. Ever wonder why some of us don’t make those resolutions come true? I think we all have good intentions but, maybe we are disciplined enough or don’t have the confidence to achieve what we want to achieve in life. I often think it is mindset that helps us to achieve our goals. In addition, continuous effort and planning helps us to reach our goals. What are we willing to give up? Taking small steps each day toward our goals and keeping the finish line within sight to keep us motivated. Do you ever reflect on the previous year and figure out what didn’t work? Do you look at where to improve?
