I think fresh baked bread wafting from the oven can bring such warmth to a home. The smell of something good cooking in the kitchen can evoke feelings of happiness and warm memories made. Whether it be bread, cookies, pies or a nice Italian dish. I think making those memories with your children and sharing those recipes at family time is something that will be cherished for years to come. Recipes can be passed down through the generations and evoke a connection to each other through food. If you have the chance, teach your kids how to cook and share some recipes with them. Allow them to come into the kitchen and stir the pot or add an ingredient such as sauce to the spaghetti.

Passing down those recipes, memories and skills is something priceless to share with your children. These are things they will cherish for years to come and hopefully will pass down to the next generation. What recipe will you make today with your kids that they will remember ?
